THE RECLUSIVE SHELVIS TO PERFORM AT BLANK-FEST BENEFIT

December 5, 2008 (Nyack, NY) – Shelvis, formerly known as Elvis, is coming out of seclusion to help the homeless. Blank-Fest, a holiday staple in Nyack, NY is a benefit concert, now in its 11th year, which raises blankets for NYC’s homeless. Shelvis will be performing at Blank-Fest XII on Sunday, December 21 at Bruxelle’s Restaurant in Nyack, NY.

Once known as the great “Elvis”....he didn't die....he HAD A SEX CHANGE, and lots of liposuction! The once King of Rock N Roll had decided to lay low after his sex-change surgery and extensive liposuction. The King is now the Queen and looking to help out the less fortunate during this holiday gift-giving season. When Kenn Rowell, Blank-Fest founder and longtime friend, asked the hermetic former superstar for a performance in his show, Shelvis said, “What could I do? I loved the stage. I love to help others and I love Kenn. I figured it was time to stop hiding in the closet and jump back out there into the limelight.” So that’s just what s/he intends to do.

For the cost of one blanket in any condition, Blank-Fest provides entertainment for a Sunday afternoon (actually from noon till closing) and this year among the best of NYC’s underground talent, you will be treated to a special performance by the one and only Shelvis.
